Each year our employees amaze us with their giving spirits and readiness to work together to support the organizations that Davis & Green Services sponsors. In 2016 and 2017, our annual Tug-of-War Championship benefitting The Doorways raised over $15,000.00 and grew from an internal competition to a multi-organizational competition with over 10 participating local businesses.
We’ve continued to partner with Special Olympics Virginia since 2014 and have raised money and awareness by participating in the annual Polar Plunge. Many of our employees and their children have volunteered year after year at the Summer Games, helping participants and cheering them on at events such as Bocce Ball and the Pentathlon.
In addition to raising money and awareness at an employee level, Davis & Green Services also sponsors other local organizations, such as the American Cancer Society’s Cattle Baron’s Ball and VCU Massey Cancer Center and Vessels of Mercy International.
