Tazza Kitchen


February 2019 – Davis & Green Services & Leipertz Construction partnered up to create a dazzling new restaurant and bar in the up and coming Scott’s Addition neighborhood. The newest Tazza Kitchen joined existing locations in Midlothian and Short Pump. Customers can sample craft beverages, smooth wines and locally sourced ingredients.


Happy Boxes Self Storage


October 2017 – Davis & Green Services partnered with Clancy & Theys Construction to bring an innovative self-storage facility to Richmond’s west end. Happy Boxes created a beautiful structure to house what has become a necessity to modern life – storage.


Upper Shirley Vineyards


March 26, 2016 – Davis & Green Services and J.W. Enochs, Inc. recently completed the beautiful Upper Shirley Vineyards tasting room and banquet space in Charles City, VA. Nestled alongside the gently flowing James River, the vineyard boasts an incomparable view of the James River. Visitors to Upper Shirley Vineyards can sample wine, have lunch or book a wedding! Brandermill Woods Expansion Project


December 28, 2015 – Davis & Green Services recently installed a new service and wired 18 luxury apartments at Brandermill Woods, one of Richmond’s premier retirement communities. The community’s expansion includes a total of 93 new apartments, a new Wellness Center and an updated Clubhouse to maximize the senior living experience, all within a small-town setting.


Electrical Vehicle Charging at Main Street Station


August 5, 2015 – Davis & Green Services recently completed Phase I of an Electric Vehicle Charge Station at Main Street Station for the City of Richmond. As part of the Richmond’s Multimodal Transportation Hub, residents and visitors to Richmond can now charge their electric vehicles downtown. Phase 1 of this exciting project included the installation of Level 2 and Level 3 “Fast Charge” chargers. Check out our interview on Virginia This Morning on CBC 6 for more information!

Davis & Green Services recently participated in an episode of Fix It & Finish It, shown on WWBT 12. Along with B.K. Martin Construction, Davis & Green Services was able to help transform a living room for Richmond couple expecting a new baby. Check out the before and after photos!


Citizen 6


April 1, 2015 – Davis & Green Services provided comprehensive electrical services for Bill Chapman Enterprises’ newest project – Citizen 6 on beautiful and historic Floyd Avenue. The ultra-modern row houses blend into the existing neighborhood while standing out in workmanship and quality.


Downtown Marriott Courtyard & Residence Inn


December 6, 2014 – Davis & Green Services teamed up with DPR Construction to complete downtown Richmond’s newest hotel, the Marriott Courtyard & Residence Inn. Located in Shockoe Slip, this unique hotel’s interior celebrates the historical value of the site. Thomas Jefferson famously penned the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom on-site. Skydive Orange


September 30, 2014 – Davis & Green Services has just completed wiring the hangar and training facility for Skydive Orange. This is the new Sikorsky X2 helicopter, which set the world record for fastest helicopter ever constructed.


Bella’s Restaurant


October 30, 2014 – Davis & Green Services and M. L. Bell Construction recently completed Bella’s Restaurant’s new Short Pump location. Davis & Green Services completed the kitchen equipment and general purpose wiring as well as the beautiful lighting inside Bella’s dining room.


Stonebridge


Stonebridge is a multi-use redevelopment project of the former Cloverleaf Mall in Chesterfield, Virginia. It was named the Best Private/Public Project by Virginia Business and is touted as a multi-use development site housing office, residential and commercial options. Davis & Green Services partnered with project developers to handle running the electrical components for the site slab, as well as additional work to support both internal and external wiring of the entire development site. The first phase of Stonebridge, which included the construction of 144,000 square feet of retail space, most notably, a 123,600 square-foot Kroger Marketplace, was completed in early 2013. Subsequent project phases are underway and Davis & Green Services looks forward to continuing to support the effort.


RockIt Sports


October 29, 2014 – RockIt Sports was founded in order to meet the ever growing need for quality, personalized instruction in athletics. Davis & Green Services provided Design Build lighting solutions to help RockIt Sports achieve optimum lighting levels for indoor sports, as well general purpose wiring and lighting for common areas. The 55,000 square feet of athletic space includes amenities such as 120’ x 120’ indoor baseball field, an 8,000 square feet of netted, turfed area with bullpens and 14 cages, a college size hardwood basketball floor, a mezzanine with an additional basketball floor and wrestling mats, a weight room/speed training area, a Parent fitness room, the RockIt Café.

September 29, 2014 – Davis & Green Services recently completed the interior and exterior electrical work on this new riverside restaurant in downtown Richmond, VA using state of the art fixtures to give it an amazing atmosphere. Stop by and see it for yourself!


17th Street Farmers Market


December 2018 – The City of Richmond and Davis & Green Services partnered up to renovate the historic 17th Street Farmers Market, which has served as an area of commerce and gathering for over 275 years. Powered by Davis & Green Services, the space hosts seasonal ice skating, festivals and a weekly farmers market.


Chesterfield Towne Center Interior Lighting


December 23, 2015 – Davis & Green Services recently completed a major overhaul of Chesterfield Towne Center’s interior lighting. HI Richmond


December 1, 2015 – Along with J.W. Enochs, Inc., Davis & Green Services recently completed work on Hostelling International’s newest hostel, located in historic Richmond in the former Otis Elevator building at 7 N. 2nd Street. The 58-bed hostel offers dorm-style rooms for as low as $30 per night. Funds for the hostel were raised by Hostelling International and local donors, including Jim Ukrop.

Virginia State University Site Lighting Improvements


March 4, 2015 – Davis & Green Services recently improved the site lighting at Virginia State University’s Langston Hall parking lot and the Carter G. Woodson Pedestrian Crosswalk at the Wilder Building. These improvements increase the safety of faculty, students and visitors at VSU.

Upscale Residential Outdoor Lighting


October 31, 2014 – Davis & Green Services and Pitts & Associates recently completed this beautiful private residence in Richmond, Virginia. Davis & Green Services focused on providing the customer the ultimate in luxurious outdoor lighting. Lighting features included driveway and entrance lighting, outdoor walkway lighting and tree and landscaping highlight lighting. The crown jewel of the lighting project is surely the beautiful courtyard fountain lighting!


The Beacon Theatre


September 30, 2014 – Located in Hopewell, Virginia, the historic Beacon Theatre is a 640-seat event space dedicated to the arts. Although the theatre, which opened in 1928, held its last curtain call in 1981, the establishment of Hopewell Preservation, Inc. in 1987 began a grassroots effort to restore, revive and reopen the historic landmark. Davis & Green Services later joined that restoration effort, and in 2012 began work to replace 280-vintage style sconce lights throughout the theatre. The choice of the vintage style sconce lights was done to maintain the integrity of the era in which the theatre was established. And the results are impressive.


Pembelton Forest Products, Inc.


October 27, 2014 – Davis & Green Services recently completed work at the Pembelton Forest Products’ sawmill in Nottoway County. Pembelton Forest Products specializes in manufacturing hardwood lumber in species such as red oak, white oak and poplar. Davis & Green Services provided comprehensive design build solutions, including engineering, the installation of the electrical service, motor control centers and general purpose wiring throughout the sawmill.


Virginia Commonwealth University


September 30, 2014 – Davis & Green Services has provided Virginia Commonwealth University with electrical work and services for several years. In April 2011, Davis & Green Services was proud to be asked to hang banners in downtown Richmond, VA to celebrate the VCU men’s basketball team and their run to the 2011 Final Four in Houston.


“Greenest” Historic Office Building in US


September 28, 2014 – Davis & Green Services partnered with Dovetail Construction to help renovate a former electric railway car barn originally built in 1907 in Richmond, VA. Our goals were to have it listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) and to obtain the highest level of LEED certification (Platinum). The result was a net zero energy commercial office that was both inspirational and fun. What was arguably one of the least energy efficient buildings in Virginia, was turned into one of the most energy efficient in the country.
